We had the wonderful opportunity to be together with Brigham in the Gilbert Temple and watch him make life saving covenants with the Lord as he received his Temple Endowment.

24 March 2020 - It is anticipated that you should serve for a period of 21 months

It has been pretty crazy! No I'm not quarantined-yet. Only restrictions we have at the moment are not tracting and not entering people's homes, there is still lots to do its just different! But we're preparing to be stuck in our apartments soon. We're lucky we have most of our mission in Wyoming and Nebraska where there's not many cases of COVID-19, so we're behind lots of other missions. Although with all that we've been talking about and doing, the work is actually going to hasten rather than halt, if us as missionaries work effectively and use the tools we've been given. This is actually a pretty huge opportunity to change the way we do missionary work to a more effective and fruitful way. But I got some of the worst news ever Tuesday morning. My release date changed from July 23rd to April 30th, so in a moment 3 transfers left changed to this being my last transfer. And Elder Hughes, who was supposed t out have 4 weeks left, got the news Tuesday...

16 March 2020 - SURPRISE 🎉

Heyyo Sorry! Forgot to mention our preparation day this week is gonna be Monday! We have stuff to do the last Tuesday of every transfer, so as long as I'm here my pday will be weird the last week! BTW we do know what's happening for transfers this Wednesday! Elder Hughes is out of here for his last 4 weeks, headed up to Casper Wyoming. I'm staying and Elder Garrison is my new companion. Anyway, it's been good! Last preparation day was pretty fun, we went up to Estes Park with our district and President and Sister Palmer. It was pretty warm down here, so we weren't expecting it to be much colder in Estes. But it was...and it was snowing....still fun though! Wednesday we had dinner that we could NOT be late for. We were serving good at this church, then eating the leftovers. We had a lesson at 530 in Severance and had to be at dinner at 5:45 in Windsor (not too far away, but different cities). Somehow it all worked out, the Lord slowed down time or so...
