Hey everyone!

First of all big news. Transfers are this Wednesday and we found out what is happening Saturday night. I'm staying here in Riverton and my last companion Elder Chinbaatar is coming up here to be my companion again!! I am super excited to see my boy again! Elder Buchanan is headed down to Estes Park Colorado, and I'm staying in Wyoming and hitting my 10 months in Wyoming!

Last Tuesday was a party. We helped a member brand some cows and I've never felt so much like a cowboy in my life. That night it randomly started POURING rain and we decided to go out and walk around. We ended up talking to a few people and was actually worth our time.

Wednesday was a strange day. Apparently there was a bad snow storm in the mission so we were told to park our cars by 7pm and not drive until 10am Thursday morning. BUT it was still a good day. We ended up getting fed dinner with someone we are teaching which was a huge blessing.

Thursday we had our last district Council as the district that's been together for 2 transfers. We sat around a campfire and it was a super fun time. After that me and Elder Buchanan had to go with Elder Halladay and Elder Garcia to a district Council in Lander, then drive all the way down to Casper. Elder Garcia flew home Saturday, and had to be in the mission home by Thursday night so we drove him to Casper and drove back with his companion Elder Halladay.

Friday was a good day, we started sharing the new Easter video with everyone we see. I would recommend you watch it if you haven't yet it's super great, it's on comeuntochrist.org. At dinner we showed the video and invited them to share it with someone and the two teenage girls just shared it right then. It is SO cool to see technology and youth being used to sharing the gospel in this day. Later that night we had a lesson with a recent convert. His name is Ty and he's 9 years old, and his grandmother just adopted someone that is taking the lessons. He was testifying the whole time and basically invited this girl to be baptized. It was amazing to see him, who was baptized a couple weeks ago, to testify and teach. He also told us he wants to be a missionary when he is older!

On Saturday we met this random guy in a trailer park and he let us follow him and sit on some rocks to show him the Easter video. He started crying telling us that he's been praying and nothing is helping and we promised him God is there and cares about him, pretty cool to see that Heavenly Father sent 3 missionaries to someone who was praying. That night we went to a baptism, and it was amazing. She is the grandmother of someone we are teaching and the mother of a member who hasn't been to church in a while.

Sunday was super busy, we had 2 wards to go to in the morning, one at 9am and one at 11:30. Right after that we met our district at city park. The two elders in our district that play the bagpipes brought them and we talked to everyone that came to listen. It was an easy conversation starter, we walked over to the skate park and asked all the kids if they've heard bagpipes before. Not much happened but we talked to a lot of people. One kid taught me how to do a fakie on his bike which was fun. Then we had dinner in Elder Halladay ward, then we had dinner in my ward, then we had a lesson and our day was over.

Monday we spent a lot of time going over to members so Elder Buchanan could say goodbye, but we were able to share the Easter video and invite members to invite people to church. It was a good week with my two companions. I can't WAIT to get my Mongolian back though.

Spiritual thought: I have been thinking about repentance a lot lately. It's cool to know that repentance can help us receive forgiveness of our sins and turn away from out sins. But it goes way more than that. We must do more than just turn away from our sins, we have to turn towards God and start improving. Repentance truly is an amazing gift from God and is always worth it, but the prophet is right when he tells us we must "do better and be better". Christ had done what he has so we can continue to move forward and become like him.
