....but legends never die.
Sorry this is randomly today. We were busy yesterday and don't have much time today, so not much of a pday-which is okay!
Its been a good 21 months, crazy that I won't be sending another one of these next week! I get home Thursday which seems like nothing, but there is a lot to be done the next few days!
The Lord definitely blessed me and Elder Garrison this last week. We had a lesson with a family of 5 who are the greatest people ever. They are friends with a member who invited them to meet with us. The member set up a zoom meeting and everything. It was a fantastic. We also had a pretty cool miracle with another kid we are teaching. With the COVID situation happening, it's been a real struggle to get people to attend sacrament meeting. But we were able to have his friend invite him to join his family for their "church" and sacrament meeting! We texted on Sunday and asked how it went and his friend called us and told us how awesome it was. There were many other spiritual experiences throughout the week and I felt pretty close to my Heavenly Father through it all.
Sorry for the short email, not a lot of time today. But I can tell you all my mission has been some of the best times of my life. I've met a lot of people that I love like crazy and will love forever. Honestly love is one of the biggest things I've developed on my mission. Seeing others the way Christ sees them and seeing Christ IN them. I've also grown amazingly close to my Savior and Heavenly Father and have grown in my love and loyalty to them. My knowledge and testimony of the gospel has grown in ways I can't express. As my dad always says "the work was there before you got there, and it will be there when you leave". I'm definitely going to miss the mission a lot more than the mission will miss me. But I know it my mission wasn't the peak of my life, it's just a springboard to get me to the top.
Love ya'll, thanks for reading my emails <3
